      Sunrise service Pleasant Valley Bible Church will hold an Easter Sunrise Service at 8 a.m. Sun., March 23 at Maravilla Gardens, 8620 Santa Rosa Road in Camarillo. Following the sunrise service, a pancake breakfast will be served at the church, 1101 Ponderosa Drive, Camarillo.

Jewish film fest to open in Ventura
      Temple Beth Torah's fifth annual Ventura County Jewish Film Festival will open at 7 p.m. Thurs., April 3. Unless noted otherwise, all films will be shown at the Regency Buenaventura 6 Theater at the 101 Freeway and Telephone Road in Ventura.
