The journey to becoming a Boy Scout
      PROMOTED- During a ceremony at Camarillo Heights Elementary School in Camarillo on Tuesday evening, three members of Cub Scout Pack 3841 were awarded the Arrow of Light, the highest honor given a Cub Scout before he becomes a Boy Scout. Camarillo resident Michael Mayper, 10, receives his Arrow of Light award as his parents, Jennifer and Chuck Mayper, watch the ceremony.

      The board of directors of the Ventura County Fairgrounds announced recently that the theme of the 133rd Ventura County Fair will be "Meet Me at the Fair."
