La Reina to hold entrance exams
Catholic school established in 1964
      La Reina High School will hold an entrance placement test on Sat., Feb. 2 at the school, 106 W. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. Applicants may also choose to spend a day at the school to visit classes and meet students and faculty.

      More bicycles, fewer cars- that's what officials at California State University Channel Islands want to see on the Camarillo campus in the next few years. The state university that wants to be known as the "green campus" could achieve its aim with a bikeshare program that officials are interested in bringing on campus.

Dos Caminos Elementary turns box tops into $800
      It all counts. That's the message RaeAnne Michael, principal of Dos Caminos Elementary School in Camarillo, wants to get out to parents who've helped the school earn $800 since September in General Mills' Box Top For Education program.
