Camarillo Eagles make history

FLYIN' HIGH- The Camarillo Eagles U-11 soccer team put up a stellar performance at the 2007 League Cup, giving up just one goal during the tournament and powering its way to the semifinals. It was the first-ever appearance for the Eagles in the tournament's final four, where they faced off against Slammers FC. Though narrowly defeated by their southern rival 1-0 in one of the tournament's most exciting matchups, the Eagles clinched their spot in next season's Gold bracket. Team members include Ariana Brajkovich, Shelby Dailor, Aimee Ellis, Julianne Empey, Jo Grode, Kelsey Kimball, Alexandra Martinez, Callie McLaughlin, Kailee Morehead, Gillian Myers, Kate N'Guetta, Petal Niles, Allison Pantuso, Ariana Singer and Alexandra Vonarb. The Eagles are coached by Andrew Montenegro and managed by Paul and Laura Morehead.
