Soroptimists looking for heartfelt donations

The Soroptimist International clubs of Camarillo and Oxnard are soliciting donations of items and services for the live and silent auctions at their second annual Art 4 Heart event to be held the afternoon of Sun., Feb. 10, at the Courtyard by Marriott in Oxnard.

Items such as antiques, vacation packages, services, jewelry and tickets to events are needed for the live auction. Smaller items, services and gift certificates are welcome for the silent auction.

Art 4 Heart proceeds go to St. John's Healthcare Foundation to benefit St. John's Medical Center and St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital in education, diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in women.

The 2008 Art 4 Heart afternoon will feature a juried art exhibit and sale, fine wines, gourmet foods, and live and silent auctions.
