Teachers need support

I realize that it is difficult to get support for public schools in an area where so many people send their children to private schools, but please, let us not scrimp on the place where it counts most- our teachers.

A good teacher can manage with second-rate classrooms or supplies, but all the amenities in the world can't make up for a second-rate teacher. That's what we'll be left with in Pleasant Valley School District if we don't at least match the pay and benefits of surrounding, less affluent school districts. Please support our teachers.
