Shakespeare to make curtain call

The Curtain Call Youth Theatre presents its fall Shakespeare production, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," this weekend at Camarillo Community Theatre, 330 Skyway Drive, inside the airport.

Showtimes are 7 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 13; 8 p.m. Fri., Dec. 14 and 2 p.m. Sat., Dec. 15.

This Shakespeare comedy, set in the 1950s, features 14 actors ages 12 to 19 who are either homeschooled or in an independent study program.

"We are proud to be entering into our second season with this particular division of our youth theater. We have filled a need in the community for this most specific group of students. We plan to be here a long time for anyone who is interested in performing all aspects of theater," said Jeff Wallach, artistic director.

Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children 12 and under.
