Camarillo residents are invited to pay utility bills online

Camarillo utility customers now have the option to pay their utility bills online with the city's secure online service.

Starting this month, customers can access utility accounts using a computer with Internet access, their utility account number, an active email address and a personal identification number.

Using the free service, utility customers can make credit and debit card payments for city water, sewer and/or trash bills. They can view account information such as balance, consumption, billing and payment history.

The privacy and confidentiality of the communication between the browser and the city servers is protected using 128-bit encryption.

Customers can receive email notification when their bill is posted online and is available for viewing and payment.

For initial registration access, randomly-generated PINs are being printed on the statement just under the service address on the top right side of the bill.
