Peeping Tom spotted in park bathroom Three female youths reported a peeping Tom in the women's restroom at Pleasant Valley Park the afternoon of Dec. 6, according to Camarillo police. At about 2:30 p.m., one of the girls, age 12, had entered the restroom after her 13yearold sister and was about to go into the next stall when she saw a man standing on the toilet and looking over into the stall where her sister was. The man jumped off the toilet, shut and locked the stall door and began to speak in a "simulated female voice," according to the police report. The girls left the restroom immediately, joining another 14yearold girl and, as they walked away, they noticed the man was following them. After about five minutes, he crossed the street and then returned to the park. The girls went into the Boys & Girls Club to tell an adult what happened. Police searched the area but didn't find the man. Anyone with any information regarding the incident can contact Camarillo Detectives at (805) 388-5100. Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information which leads to the arrest against the person responsible for the crime. The caller may remain anonymous. The call is not recorded. Call Crime Stoppers at (805) 494-8255 (TALK) (Thousand Oaks/Moorpark) or (805) 987-8255 (Camarillo/Oxnard/Port Hueneme). |
