Young traded to Twins Delmon Young, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft by the Tampa Bay Devil Rays, has been traded from Tampa Bay to the Minnesota Twins, ESPN.com reported on its website Thursday. Young graduated from Camarillo High and helped lead the Scorpions to the 2002 CIFSouthern Section Division I title. He batted .288 with 13 home runs and 93 RBI with the Devil Rays this season and was the runner-up for the American League's Rookie of the Year Award.
