Vipers take trophy at Ojai tourney
BIG WIN- The Camarillo Vipers won the Ojai Turkey Shootout Baseball Tournament in the under age 11 division last weekend. The Vipers defeated Ventura Venom 15-0 on Friday night and the Santa Clarita Bandits 9-2 on Saturday. The team went on to defeat the Valencia Synergy 6-2 Sunday morning to advance to the championship game later that night. They beat the Santa Clarita Bandits for a second time, 7-1, to clinch the championship. In the game versus Synergy, Bryce Seeler, a 10-year-old Simi Valley resident, hit a home run. The Vipers also completed a triple play to end the game versus Synergy.
