City needs volunteer for Rent Review Commission

The city of Camarillo is accepting applications for a volunteer position on the Rent Review Commission.

A volunteer is needed to fill the position of mobile home member (owner alternate). To qualify, the individual must be either an owner and/or owner representative of a mobile home park in the city.

The commission is responsible for assisting in the settlement of rent disputes. It meets annually and on an as-needed basis, generally during afternoon working hours.

The position's term will expire in March 2009. Appointees to the Rent Review Commission must complete and file a statement of economic interest form. Visit www.fppc.ca.gov for information regarding the form.

The deadline to submit applications is 5 p.m. Fri., Nov. 30. Applications are available at the city clerk's office and at www.ci.camarillo.ca.us. Applicants are asked to provide a current resume along with their completed application.
