Old Town to become a winter wonderland

The 2007 Old Town Holiday Celebration will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Fri., Nov. 30 along Ventura Boulevard in Old Town Camarillo.

Horse and carriage rides will be available, and Santa will arrive by firetruck. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony with Mayor Jan McDonald will be at 6:30 p.m. near the clock tower. Photos with Santa will be taken at the Chamber of Commerce office, 2400 E. Ventura Blvd.

Carriage rides cost $5 for adults and $3 for children. Tickets will be available at the Chamber. The boulevard will be decorated for the holidays, and carolers will sing. Free hot cocoa will be served.
