Community theater's upcoming events The Camarillo Community Theatre has announced upcoming productions to take place at 330 Skyway Drive, inside the Camarillo airport. For more information, call (805) 388-5716. •Pinki's Playhouse, Theatre for Children to See, will present "The Gingerbread Man's Christmas Princess Adventure," at 11 a.m. Sat., Dec. 1. Tickets are $5 each. •The Camarillo Community Theatre and Curtain Call Youth Theatre will present the Home School/Independent Study Version of William Shakespeare's, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" at 7 p.m. Thurs., Dec. 13; 8 p.m. Fri., Dec. 14; and 2 p.m. Sat., Dec. 15. Tickets are $5 each. •The Camarillo Community Theatre with Curtain Call Youth Theatre will present "Alice in Wonderland Jr." from Jan. 11 through 20. Showtimes will be Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10 for ages 13 and up, and $5 for children 12 years and younger. •Auditions for the musical "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown," will be held beginning at 7 p.m. Sun. and Mon., Dec. 2 and 3 at the theater inside the Camarillo airport. David Newcomer is the director, Paul Duffy the music director and Tami Keaton the choreographer. To audition, bring two copies of the sheet music for a song to be performed. An up-tempo is requested, preferably not from the show but in a similar style. No tapes or CDs allowed. An accompanist will be provided. Dress in dance attire and wear jazz shoes. There will also be a cold reading from the script. Bring a resume and a headshot if available. Rehearsals will begin in early December.
