YMCA open on Turkey Day

The Camarillo Family YMCA will host "Thanksgiving Day at the YMCA" from 8 a.m. to noon Thurs., Nov. 22 at 3111 Village at the Park Drive, Camarillo. The facilities and pool will be open. Child care will be available from 8 to 11 a.m.

Cycle classes will be at 8:05 and 9:10 a.m. Cycles must be reserved in advance by donating a toy for Toys for Tots or making a minimum $5 contribution to the Campaign for Youth.

There will be a 5k coached run at 9:15 a.m. and at 10:30 a "Running of the Turkey" family event. All ages will chase a turkey on the soccer field.
