OLD TOWN REPLICA- Camarillo resident Mel Vincent stands like a giant over his replica of Old Town Camarillo. At right, Vincent peeks through the main street sign. Re-creating the Ventura Avenue storefronts out of balsa wood, he recently completed the model of Old Town, which he began working on more than a year ago as a means to relieve depression after the death of his wife. The Leisure Village resident plans on contacting the Pleasant Valley Historical Society or the Camarillo Library about donating his model to the city.
