HEROES FOR ORPHANS- Ryan Torres, 15, above, and Samantha Lewis, 14, above right, dance with a member of the Marcus L. Miller African Drum and Dance Corps at Adolfo Camarillo High School during the HERO club fundraising kickoff on Wednesday. The student club is part of the United Nations relief program, Help Educate At-Risk Orphans, or HERO, and raises money through T-shirt and food sales, collects donations and holds fundraisers all year to help children in Africa. In previous years, money raised through the club has gone to feed orphans, build walls around schools, stock libraries and construct a water reclamation facility for a school in Ethiopia.
