MAKING A DIFFERENCE- Members of the Marcus L. Miller African Drum and Dance Corps leap and twirl at Adolfo Camarillo High School above a banner thanking students for their previous donations to the HERO Club during the HERO fundraising kickoff on Wednesday. The student club is part of the United Nations relief program Help Educate At-Risk Orphans, or HERO, and raises money through T-shirt and food sales, donations and fundraisers to help children in Africa. In previous years, money raised through the club has gone to feed orphans, build walls around schools, stock libraries and construct a water reclamation facility for a school in Ethiopia.
