Business advocacy group launches website

Economic Development Collaborative-Ventura County has launched its updated website at www.edcvc.com. The site features expanded information on the organization's assistance programs, including loan programs, the Business Enhancement Program and Business 911, a turnaround assistance program for companies in crisis.

The new site was created by Bassworks and features the nonprofit organization's latest newsletter, information about the collaborative's events and projects, and video and audio clips. There is also a link to the Ventura County Film Commission, an EDC-VC organization.

"We wanted to make the site more user-friendly and have it be a resource for business owners," said Michele Pettes, president and CEO.
