Tip a cop

Representatives from the Ventura County Police Department will be the celebrity servers from 5 to 9 p.m. Mon., Nov. 5 at Black Angus restaurant, 4718 Telephone Road, Ventura.

All tax-deductible tips to the deputies will be donated to Special Olympics Ventura County. Special Olympics athletes will help the deputies serve the food and will also be selling raffle tickets and T-shirts.

In the Nickel Raffle, the price of the ticket is a nickel times the ticket's number. Tickets are numbered one through 500, so the highest priced ticket will sell for $25.

First prize in the raffle is $500, second prize $250 and third prize $100.
