Draft of county housing report available

A draft of Ventura County's housing element update is available for review and comments from the public at the website www.ventura.org/rma/planning.

The site contains the following information:

•The timeline for the housing element update process

•Scheduled public meetings and instructions for submitting written comments

•The draft housing element update

•The existing housing element

•Land inventory tables for moderate- and upper-income households.

The Housing Element is one of seven statemandated elements of the General Plan and contains goals, policies and programs dealing with local existing and future housing conditions and needs.
