Historic Camarillo Ranch House to glow with candlelight at gala

The seventh annual Camarillo Ranch Holiday Candlelight Gala will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Fri., Nov. 30 at the Camarillo Ranch House, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road.

The house will be decorated for the holidays. A buffet will be provided by local restaurants and caterers, and there will be a hosted wine bar. The band The Loft will perform, and carriage rides around the circle driveway will be offered.

Auction items will include: a selection of private catered events at the Camarillo House, golf packages, vacation getaways, paintings and decor items, tickets for sporting events, and gift baskets.

K.C. Lawrence will be the live auctioneer, and David Smith will be the master of ceremonies.

Dress will be cocktail attire or period dress, with black tie optional.

The gala is the Camarillo Ranch Foundation's major fundraising event of the year. Money raised is used to help preserve and operate the oldest home in Camarillo.

Tickets are $75 per person in advance by reservation through Mon., Nov. 26, and $85 after Nov. 26 and at the gate.
