Ice cream social at Camarillo temple

Women of Temple Ner Ami will kick off their 2007-08 season with an ice cream social at 7 p.m. Tues., Oct. 23 at 4098 Calle Tesoro, Camarillo.

The theme will be "Fun, Friends and Philanthropy." The public is invited to attend.

The officers will present the

year's activities, take sign-ups for projects to "repair the world," called tikkkun olam in Hebrew, and spend time getting acquainted. The event is free, but reservations are required by calling (805) 388-3824. For more information, call temple president Arla Crane at (805) 987-2000.
