Ojai Film fest to include Q & A session with actors
Matthew Perry and Mary Steenburgen to attend four-day event

The eighth annual Ojai Film Festival will take place from Thurs., Oct. 4 through Sun., Oct. 7.

The festival opens with Ron Howard's "In the Shadow of the Moon" at 7:30 tonight at the Libbey Bowl. The film presents crew members of Apollo moon missions telling their stories.

Harris Goldberg's "Numb" will be shown at 8 p.m. Sat., Oct. 6 at the Ojai Playhouse. The film stars Matthew Perry, Lynn Collins, Kevin Pollack, Bob Gunton, Helen Shaver, William B. Davis and Mary Steenburgen. Perry, Steenburgen and Goldberg are scheduled to participate in a questionandanswer session after the screening.

The Lifetime Achievement award will be presented to Oscar-winning cinematographer Vilmos Zsigmond at a private event Sun., Oct. 7.

The festival will also include an appearance by actress Julie Christie, a tribute to the late cinematographer Laszlo Kovacs and a Regional Reels series featuring films of local filmmakers.
