Howard's moon mission film to open annual Ojai festival

A free outdoor screening of Ron Howard's documentary "In the Shadow of the Moon" will open the eight annual Ojai Film Festival at 7:30 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 4 at the Libbey Bowl in Ojai. The festival continues through Oct. 7.

"Moon" chronicles the Apollo space program and brings together the surviving crew members of every manned moon mission.
