Intro to taiko drumming

An introductory class to taiko drumming will be offered from 8 to 9 p.m. Wednesdays Oct. 3 through Nov. 14.

The class will be held in the Oxnard Buddhist Temple social hall, 250 South H St., Oxnard. There will be no class Oct. 31.

The classes are open to anyone, age 8 to adult, interested in learning about taiko. An optional performance/recital is planned for the annual OseiboTaikai celebration in early December.

The registration fee is $40 and includes materials. Space is limited and registration is required.
