Birthday celebration at Camarillo Ranch House

The public is invited to celebrate Don Adolfo's 143rd birthday from noon to 4 p.m. Sun., Oct. 28 at the Camarillo Ranch House, 201 Camarillo Ranch Road.

Women from history will be portrayed, including Don Adolfo's wife, Isabel Camarillo; their daughter, Carmen; Queen Elizabeth I; Amelia Earhart; Laura Ingles Wilder; and Eleanor Roosevelt. The roles will be performed by members of the American Association of University Women's History Program and a ranch house docent.

Birthday cake and punch will be provided, and guests may tour the home and learn about the Camarillo family and the ranch house.

The suggested donation is $5; all proceeds will go to the AAUW scholarship fund and the CRH docents.
