Theater to hold 'Alice' auditions

Curtain Call Youth Theatre is holding auditions for its fall musical production of Disney's "Alice in Wonderland" Sun., Sept. 23 at the Camarillo Community Theatre, 330 Skyway Drive, Camarillo.

All roles are open. Prepare one vocal selection from any Disney musical with sheet music in the appropriate key; an accompanist will be provided. Be prepared to learn a short movement combination, and be familiar with the show.

Curtain Call Youth Theatre is open to young actors, ages 10 to 19, who sing.

There is a tuition for this workshop, which will begin Tues., Sept. 25, and rehearsals will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6 p.m.

Not all actors will be called for every rehearsal. Most conflicts can be worked around.

The show goes up Jan. 11, 2008, and runs for two weeks, playing Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
