Rose Society to meet

The Ventura County Rose Society will hold its monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thurs., Sept. 27 at a new location, the Ventura County Office of Education Conference Center, 5100 Adolfo Road, Camarillo.

The meeting will begin with questions and answers by several rose experts followed by a rose show featuring many kinds of roses. Attendees are welcome to bring in roses to display and share.

At 7:30 the speaker, Paula Smart, will talk about raising dahlias and roses.

Books and videos will be available. Refreshments will be provided. Visitors are welcome.
