Proud of work done for concert series

Raymond Michael's "Tribute to Elvis" show was the final event of the 2007 concert season at Constitution Park in Camarillo.

The series of seven summer concerts, one every other weekend, is produced by the Camarillo Arts Council, an independent, nonprofit organization.

All work of the concerts, from planning, fundraising, production and cleanup is done by the allvolunteer CAC board of directors, fewer than 20 men and women.

With completion of the 2007 season, the board will begin planning, at monthly meetings, the 2008 concert series.

Thousands of Camarillo residents attend these musical events each summer and can be proud of the work done by this small, dedicated group of volunteers. Gail DeWolfe Camarillo
