Humor is the antidote

California State University Channel Islands will present "An Evening with Patch Adams" from 6 to 8 p.m. Wed., Sept. 26 in Malibu Hall 100 on the university campus.

Adams is a doctor and writer who speaks on wellness, laughter and humor as well as healthcare and healthcare systems.

After his talk, Adams will sign books from 8 to 8:30 p.m.

Tickets are $30 for the public, $15 for CSUCI staff and faculty, and free to students at the university. Free parking and shuttle service to and from the campus will be available at the Camarillo Metrolink Station on Lewis Road from 5 to 9 p.m.
