International Day of Peace

In celebration of the United Nations' International Day of Peace, the Eleven Days of Global Unity and the Season for Interfaith Celebration will sponsor the "Living Peace in Ojai" event, Sept. 21 to 23.

A peace vigil will be held at Libbey Park in Ojai at 7 p.m. tonight, Fri., Sept. 21.

"The Retreats of Ojai" will host open houses at various locations in Ojai Saturday. For details, visit www.retreatsofojai.com.

Also on Saturday, Jonathan McEwan and The Gift of Peace will perform beginning at 5 p.m. at Libbey Bowl. At 8:30 p.m. is the Concert for World Dance with the Khalife Band.

An interfaith/inter-spiritual gathering and celebration is scheduled from 6 a.m. to noon Sun., Sept. 23 at the Libbey Bowl.
