Go wild at county museum

The Museum of Ventura County will host Museum Gone Wild at noon and 1:30 p.m. Sun., Sept. 16 at 100 E. Main St., Ventura.

Animals scheduled to appear include a fennec fox, a serval wildcat, a porcupine, a kinkajou and a two-toed sloth.

Biologists from the Animal Guys will bring wildlife and describe their habitats and behaviors during two 45minute presentations. The free Arts Explosion event is sponsored by the San Buenaventura Foundation for the Arts in partnership with the city of Ventura and coincides with the museum's monthly free Family Time.
