A catalytic converter was stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of Avenida Valencia sometime between Aug. 26 and 31.

A car parked in the 1400 block of Del Norte Avenue was burglarized Aug. 30 or 31. A satellite radio was taken.

A 31-year-old man was arrested Aug. 31 in the 300 block of Carmen Drive on charges of unlawful driving or taking of a vehicle and multiple drug charges for allegedly being under the influence and for possession of drugs.

A 44-year-old man was arrested Aug. 31 on an out-of-county warrant stemming from a drug charge.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Aug. 31 in the 5300 block of Calarosa Ranch Road for disturbing the peace with a loud noise.

Someone cut the lock off a locker at a business in the 400 block of Carmen Drive and stole an undisclosed amount of property Aug. 31.

Shoplifters stole nearly $800 in merchandise Aug. 31 from the Aeropastale store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd.

Someone broke into the Camarillo Community Center kitchen, 1605 Burnley Ave., and stole $1,000 in food that belonged to the Camarillo Health Care District sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.

Between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, someone stole various tools from the unlocked tool box in a truck parked in the 2600 block of Gemini Court.

Vandals used brown spray paint to cause $1,500 in damage to a car parked in the 2400 block of Pickwick Avenue between Aug. 31 and Sept. 2.

A thief stole an undisclosed amount of property from an unlocked home in the 1100 block of N. Lantana Street sometime between Aug. 31 and Sept. 3.

Someone stole medication from the bedroom of a home in the 500 block of Lantana Street on Sept. 1 or 2.

A car parked in the 4900 block of Verdugo Way was burglarized Sept. 2 or 3.

Entering through an unlocked window, a thief stole an undisclosed amount of property from a business in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo sometime between Sept. 2 and 4.

Vandals caused an undisclosed amount of damage to a home and car in the 1100 block of Skeel Drive on Sept. 3.

About $35 in property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 800 block of Yearling Court sometime Sept. 3 or 4. On the same block, someone stole about a dollar's worth of property from another unlocked car.

A 35-year-old man was arrested Sept. 4 in the 1700 block of Shirley Street on domestic battery charges.

An 18-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 4 after allegedly walking out of the Kmart store, 950 Arneill Road, with stolen merchandise in her purse.

A thief stole an undisclosed amount of property from an unlocked car parked in the 1200 block of Harris Avenue on Sept. 4. A neighbor found the stolen property and returned it.

A 48-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 5 for allegedly battering emergency room workers at St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital.

A 44-year-old man was arrested Sept. 5 in the 1000 block of Del Tio Court on charges of vandalism and making a criminal threat.

Vandals caused less than $400 in damages to a picnic table at a park in the 1600 block of Heritage Trail on Sept. 5.

On Sept. 5, the Ventura County Sheriff's Department's major crimes unit arrested Michael Terry Bush, a 57-year-old Camarillo resident in the 2100 block of Mariposa Street on multiple charges involving grand theft, embezzlement and filing false tax returns. Bush was also charged with possession of a deadly weapon.

Thieves stole a wallet from an unlocked car parked in the 2200 block of Lyndhurst Avenue from Sept. 5 to 6. The victim reported more than $1,200 in fraudulent credit card charges were later made.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Sept. 6 for allegedly being in possession of a stolen vehicle, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and on two outstanding warrants stemming from earlier drug charges.

A thief stole a laptop computer from an unlocked apartment in the 600 block of Las Posas Road on Sept. 6.

A car parked in the 4600 block of Adohr Lane was burglarized Sept. 6.

A 20-year-old man was arrested for brandishing a firearm at an 18year-old man at the Vons supermarket on the corner of Woodcreek Road and Mission Oaks Boulevard on Sept. 6. When the suspect was stopped by police, deputies reportedly found a set of burglar's tools in his car.

An alleged shoplifter was arrested Sept. 7, and accused of stealing two pairs of jeans from the Diesel clothing store, 740 E. Ventura Blvd.

A 56-year-old woman was arrested Sept. 7 for allegedly trying to steal about $100 in merchandise from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

A car parked in the 4600 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard was burglarized Sept. 8.

Burglars broke into Shaper Imaging Optometry, 391 Carmen Drive, and stole several pairs of expensive sunglasses Sept. 8.

Would-be burglars were chased away from the AMR Ambulance Service, 109 S. Glenn Drive, when they were seen trying to break into the ambulance service's offices on Sept. 8.

A shoplifting suspect was arrested Sept. 8 for allegedly trying to steal merchandise from the Rite Aid Pharmacy, 2550 Las Posas Road.

A 45-year-old man was arrested Sept. 8 for allegedly battering a 58year-old male in the 2600 block of E. Landen Street.

A 55-year-old man was assaulted Sept. 8 in the 600 block of Villa Adobe by unknown assailants. The man suffered a swollen jaw.

A 45-year-old man was arrested Sept. 8 in the 2500 block of Las Posas Road on petty theft and battery charges.

A 37-year-old man was arrested Sept. 8 in the 60 block of Cottage Grove Avenue for allegedly throwing an object at a moving vehicle.

A car was stolen from a home in the 15000 block of Village 15 in Leisure Village on Sept. 8.

A 26-year-old man was arrested Sept. 8 in the 800 block of Creekside Circle on charges of driving under the influence.

A vehicle parked in the 1300 block of Skeel Drive was burglarized Sept. 9 or 10.

A 28-year-old man was arrested Sept. 10 in the 3100 block of Bel Air Court on an outstanding felony warrant stemming from drug charges.

A 46-year-old man was arrested Sept. 6 in the 500 block of Anacapa Drive on charges of criminal threats, domestic violence, brandishing a deadly weapon and trespassing after an argument with his exgirlfriend in the 4100 block of Village 4 in Leisure Village earlier that day.

Between Sept. 1 and 10, police reported arresting 18 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, three people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, 16 were arrested on various drug charges and one person was arrested for being drunk in public.
