Teacher's union to lunch

California Retired Teachers Association Division 28, Ventura County, a statewide organization for retired educators, will host a luncheon social at 11:30 a.m. Wed., Sept. 19 at Poinsettia Pavilion, 3451 Foothill Road, Ventura.

Entertainment will be provided, along with state and federal legislation updates. Division 28 members age 90 and older will be honored.

The cost is $18, and a vegetarian meal will be available. Reservations are required by Fri., Sept. 14.
