Submit cultural arts listings for October Arts Week

The Ventura County Arts Council invites all county artists, community arts organizations, libraries, museums, schools and clubs to submit their cultural arts event listings for the 10-day Ventura County Arts Week 2007 celebration. The deadline is Mon., Sept. 10.

The Arts Week celebration dates are Fri., Oct. 5 through Sun., Oct. 14. Cultural events that are open to the public and take place during those dates are eligible to be listed in the Arts Week 2007 Calendar of Events brochure.

Concerts, plays, musicals, exhibits, poetry readings, "meet the artist" receptions, facility tours, open studio invitations, open rehearsals, artist demonstrations and volunteer recognition teas are a few suggestions for events.
