Volunteers needed at Council on Aging

Several volunteer positions are available with the Camarillo Council on Aging.

A recording secretary is needed to take notes during meetings and produce minutes of those meetings.

At this time, two meetings are being held each month. Meetings normally last under two hours.

The board is also seeking a public information officer who will manage the public information of the council.

The position calls for an ability to prepare information for release in the form of press releases, fliers or other forms of publicity.

Volunteers are also needed to plan and conduct the second annual Camarillo Senior Expo in May.

The Council on Aging meets at 9 a.m. the second Tuesday of each month in the Camarillo Senior Center on Burnley Street.
