Channel Islands Harbor hosts classic car show

Classic vehicles dating back to 1975 and earlier will be on display during the Ventura Vintage Rods Harbor Run 17 starting at 8 a.m. Sun., Sept. 9 at Harborview Park in Channel Islands Harbor.

More than 300 classic American-made cars will be on display during the free event, which concludes with an awards ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Vehicles will include street rods, customs, pickups and specialty vehicles.

Vendor, food and beverage booths as well as musical entertainment will be provided throughout the day. Highlights include raffle prizes, a silent auction and a 50/50 drawing. Proceeds will benefit local charities.

The entry fee is $20 per vehicle.
