Shoplifters stole an undisclosed amount of merchandise from the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd., between July 31 and Aug. 14.

A burglar broke into a home in the 2400 block of Pickwick Drive and stole a laptop computer and an iPod from inside the home sometime between Aug. 13 and 15.

Someone stole over $400 in property from Total Landscape Co., 465 Avocado Place, on Aug. 13.

An unattended purse was stolen off a chair at Starbucks, 751 E. Daily Drive, on Aug. 14.

A 43-year-old man was arrested Aug. 14 on an outstanding warrant in the 3300 block of West Street in Somis. The man was also charged with alleged drug possession and for breaking multiple vehicle codes.

Thieves stole over $1,200 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 4700 block of Colony Drive sometime on Aug. 14 or 15.

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of property from an unlocked car parked in the 2100 block of Briarfield Street on Aug. 16.

Someone broke into a car parked in the 100 block of Camino Ruiz on Aug. 16 and stole a guitar valued at nearly $2,000.

A 23-year-old man was arrested Aug. 16 on Lantana and Las Posas Road for an outstanding warrant stemming from his failure to appear in court.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Aug. 16 near the intersection of Temple Avenue and Lewis Road on multiple charges. The man, who was on probation, was allegedly driving under the influence, had methamphetamine in his car and was also in possession of a stun gun. An 18-year-old man, who was a passenger in the car and also on probation, was also arrested on drug charges.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage by throwing eggs at two cars parked in the 1600 block of E. Edgemont Drive between Aug. 16 and 17.

Two cars parked in the 400 block of Carmen Drive were burglarized sometime between Aug. 16 and 17. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

Vandals caused more than $400 in damage to a pair of cars parked in the 2000 block of Dunnigan Street on Aug. 18. According to police reports, the suspects kicked the victims' cars.

A 50-year-old man was arrested Aug. 19 near the intersection of Upland Road and San Onofre Drive for allegedly driving while drunk and for injuries a passenger in his car suffered in an accident.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Aug. 19 near the corner of Vincente Avenue and Benito Drive on two outstanding warrants stemming from his failure to appear in court to face charges for a number of driving violations.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on Aug. 19 in the 4400 block of Los Angeles Avenue in Somis on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, residential burglary and battery with serious bodily injury.

Between Aug. 13 and 19, police reported arresting 12 people on suspicion of driving without a license or with a suspended license. During that same time period, four people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, nine on various drug charges and two people accused of being drunk in public. One person was held as a minor in possession of alcohol.
