A 37-year-old man was arrested Aug. 6 on battery charges in the 200 block of N. Glenn Drive.

Someone broke into a car parked in the 2900 block of Patina Court on Aug. 6 or 7.

A car parked in the 2900 block of Patina Court was burglarized between Aug. 6 and 7. The thief made off with about $380 in personal property.

Someone pried open the passenger side windows of a car parked in the 3000 block of Calle De Marejada sometime between Aug. 6 and 7. The suspect caused about $1,000 in damages to the car.

Thieves stole less than $400 in property from an unlocked car parked in the 3000 block of Calle De Marejada Aug. 6 or 7.

Thieves stole the stereo from an unlocked car parked in the 600 block of Lantana Street on Aug. 7.

A 60-year-old man was arrested Aug. 7 for allegedly failing to stop after he hit a camper shell with his car in the 1600 block of Arneill Road. He was also charged with DUI.

On Aug. 8 near the intersection of Howard and Pancho roads, police and fire crews responded to a Dodge Durango truck that was engulfed in flames. Police listed the fire as arson. No suspects were reported.

A 20-year-old man was mugged Aug. 8 in the 1700 block of Coachmen Drive.

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of property from a building in the 1600 block of E. Daily Drive on Aug. 8.

Shoplifters stole an undisclosed amount of property from the Home Depot store, 401 W. Ventura Blvd., on Aug. 8.

A 36-year-old man on probation was arrested Aug. 8 near the corner of Mission Drive and Las Posas Road for allegedly being under the influence of drugs.

A 22-year-old man was arrested Aug. 8 in the 1500 block of Lexington Court for allegedly hitting another car and fleeing the scene of the accident.

A 19-year-old man was arrested Aug. 8 on vandalism charges in the 5100 block of Caminito Posada.

A 19-year-old man was arrested Aug. 8 for smashing the cellphone of an 18-year-old woman in the 2100 block of Farnworth Street.

Someone burglarized a car parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Novina Place sometime between Aug. 8 and 9.

A 21-year-old man was arrested Aug. 9 near the intersection of Paseo Camarillo and Rosewood Avenue for multiple warrants stemming from possession of a deadly weapon and drug charges.

Someone tried to break into a car parked in the 600 block of E. Ventura Boulevard on Aug. 9.

A 53-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 10 near the intersection of Kendall Avenue and Landen Street for allegedly violating a temporary restraining order.

A 21yearold man and a 20yearold woman were arrested Aug. 10 in the 200 block of Carmen Drive for allegedly driving a stolen car. The two were also charged for being under the influence of drugs.

A car parked in the 20 block of Gypsy Lane was burglarized sometime between Aug. 10 and 11. The suspects took a personal electronic navigation system.

An undisclosed amount of property was taken from a garage in the 1100 block of Corte Tularosa between Aug. 10 and 12.

Someone smashed the window of a car parked in the 1200 block of E. Las Posas Road on Aug. 11 and stole a purse from inside the vehicle.

A 23-year-old man on parole was arrested Aug. 11 in the 50 block of Raemere Street for allegedly being under the influence of drugs.

A thief stole four racing tires from a tire trailer parked in front of a home in the 900 block of Skeel Drive sometime between Aug. 11 and 12. The tires were valued at nearly $5,000.

Thieves stole 15 trees valued at $625 from J. Diaz Nursery, 4791 Highway 118 in Somis, on Aug. 11 or 12.

A car parked in the 600 block of Ventura Boulevard was burglarized Aug. 12.

A car parked in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo was burglarized between Aug. 12 and 13.

Vandals poured sugar in the gas tank of a car parked in the 5000 block of Laurel Park Drive sometime between Aug. 12 and 13. The suspects also slashed the car's tires.

Between Aug. 6 and 13, police reported arresting 13 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, eight people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, nine were arrested on various drug charges and one person was arrested for being drunk in public.
