A 22-year-old man was arrested July 24 on battery and multiple drug charges.

A 27-year-old driver was arrested July 27 for allegedly hitting another car and then fleeing the scene of the accident in the 300 block of Arneill Road.

A car parked in the 800 block of Paseo Camarillo Drive was burglarized between July 29 and 31. A portable navigation device was stolen.

A 28-year-old man was arrested July 29 in the 2100 block of N. Ponderosa Drive for allegedly violating the terms of his outofcounty probation.

Someone smashed the window of a car parked in the 1400 block of N. Garcia Street and then stole the car's stereo on July 30 or 31.

Vandals damaged a wroughtiron gate at Tierra Linda School, 1201 N. Woodcreek Road, between July 30 and Aug. 2.

A car parked in the 2300 block of E. Pleasant Valley Road was burglarized July 31.

A 48-year-old man was arrested July 31 in the 1900 block of E. Edgemont Drive on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats and holding someone against their will.

A 28-year-old man was arrested Aug. 1 after he escaped from the work furlough program at the 500 block of Houck Street.

A 54-year-old man was arrested Aug. 1 in the 3200 block of Mission Oaks Boulevard on charges of grand theft and forgery and for allegedly falsifying company documents to embezzle nearly $50,000 from his employee, Technicolor.

A 33-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 1 in the 1900 block of E. Daily Drive on charges of drug possession and for petty theft.

A man was arrested Aug. 1 in the 1800 block of E. Ventura Boulevard for an out-of-county warrant.

Between 11 a.m. and 3:15 p.m., a home in the 100 block of Marker Avenue was burglarized on Aug. 1. An undisclosed amount of property was stolen.

A 52-year-old man was arrested Aug. 1 in the 2000 block of E. Ventura Boulevard for an outofcounty warrant.

Zachary Smith, 18, and Nishith Vandebona, 18, were arrested Aug. 1 for allegedly threatening the 60-year-old neighbor of their friend, a 17-year-old male suspect who was also arrested. The three suspects were armed with golf clubs and a baseball bat during a confrontation with the neighbor on July 28 in the 600 block of Vista Coto Verde.

Vandals smashed the windshield of a car parked in the 200 block of Bellefonte Court on Aug. 2 or 3.

Someone broke into the shared mailbox of 16 residents at the corner of Colony Drive and Los Pueblos Drive sometime between Aug. 2 and 3.

Someone broke into two unlocked cars parked in the 2000 block of Cervato Drive between Aug. 2 and 3. The thief then used the stolen credits cards to make purchases in excess of $400 at various local gas stations and stores.

A 23-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 3 for her alleged involvement in a domestic fight in the 900 block of Palmer Avenue.

Roger Clayton, 42, and Joseph Clasen, 39, were arrested Aug. 3 when deputies allegedly found a loaded handgun, methamphetamine, heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia in the suspects' car during a traffic stop at Kingsgrove and Greentree drives in Somis.

Vandals broke the windows of a car parked in the 2100 block of Sherborne Street on Aug. 3.

The locked garage of a home in the 1500 block of E. Pleasant Valley Road was burglarized sometime between Aug. 3 and 4.

A 22-year-old woman was arrested Aug. 5 for allegedly trying to shoplift merchandise from the Kmart store located at 940 Arneill Road.

Between July 30 and Aug. 5, police reported arresting 20 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, eight people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, eight were arrested on various drug charges and one minor was arrested for being in possession of alcohol.
