The Airmen of Note soaring at library

The United States Air Force Band Airmen of Note will perform a free concert from noon to 2 p.m. Wed. Aug. 8 in the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library's main courtyard at 40 Presidential Drive, Simi Valley.

No reservations are required. Patrons may bring a picnic lunch.

The Airmen of Note is the premier jazz ensemble of the United States Air Force. It was created in 1950 to carry on the tradition of Glenn Miller's Army Air Corps dance band.

The library is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. Museum admission fees are $12 general admission, $9 for seniors 62 and over, $3 for children 11 to 17 and free for children 10 and under.
