Kravetz named nurse of the year

Silverado Senior Living recently announced that Marcia Kravetz, RN, director of health services at its Escondido community, was named the first national Nurse of the Year by the National Assisted Living Nurses of America at the organization's annual conference in Las Vegas.

NALNA is recognized as the professional nursing organization that provides education and professional standards for the nurses in the assisted-living industry.

Kravetz is from Vancouver, BC, Canada, where she graduated from the University of Alberta in Edmonton.
