Camarillo scuba diver found dead off La Jolla coast

The body of Mark Stephen Conyers, a 48yearold Camarillo resident, was found Wed., July 25 floating off the La Jolla Shores just north of San Diego, said a spokesperson with the San Diego Medical Examiner's Office.

According to reports, Conyers had been scuba diving at the time when a kayaker spotted his body around 5:15 p.m.

Reports indicate Conyers' air tank was empty and he had no pulse when his body was recovered from the water.

The San Diego Medical Examiner's Office lists Mary Beth Mosher as Conyers' wife. An autopsy is pending.
