Methodists open vacation Bible school

With the theme "Lift Off: Soaring to new heights with God," the Camarillo United Methodist Church will present its annual Vacation Bible School from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday, Aug. 6 to 10.

The program is open to all children entering kindergarten through the fifth grade.

Activities include stories, crafts, music, games and snacks. New this year are science experiments. Each child will receive a T-shirt and visor.

Cost is $15 per child with a maximum of $30 per family. Scholarships are available. A registration form may be obtained in the church office.
