Camarillo

A motor home parked in the 3600 block of Via Pescador was burglarized sometime between May 15 and June 13. Two televisions and a microwave were stolen.

Between July 8 and 12, someone broke into a home in the 800 block of Paseo Camarillo and stole a $700 television.

A would-be burglar tried to break into a home in the 200 block of Spindlewood Avenue between July 11 and 12. The suspect tried to pry the window screens off the home in an attempt to open locked windows.

A 37-year-old man was arrested July 12 on battery charges at the Target store, 209 W. Ventura Blvd.

A 21-year-old man was arrested July 13 near the intersection of Flynn and Adolfo roads for allegedly throwing an object at another motorist during a road rage incident. The suspect also had an out of county warrant.

A 46yearold woman and 40year-old man were arrested July 13 in the unincorporated area just outside of Camarillo on multiple warrants stemming from a number of alleged traffic offenses, including a DUI.

A 27-year-old man was arrested July 13 on battery charges in the 800 block of Calle La Sombra.

A 28-year-old woman was arrested July 14 for allegedly trying to pass a counterfeit traveler's check at a store in the 50 block of Factory Stores Drive.

A 30-year-old man was arrested July 14 on forgery charges at a store in the 800 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A car parked in the 1200 block of Avenida Acaso was burglarized sometime between July 12 and 13. The thief stole about $1,300 in property and caused $300 in damages.

Vandals damaged the plants at a home in the 1400 block of Pancho Road sometime between July 12 and 14.

Someone broke into a motor home parked in storage at the south end of West Park Drive between July 12 and 16.

Someone stole over $400 in property from a home in the 1400 block of Loma Drive sometime between July 12 and 18.

A 22-year-old man was assaulted by a known suspect in the 600 block of N. Mobil Avenue on July 13.

Between July 13 and 14 someone stole three mailboxes from three separate homes in the 3800 block of Almendro Way.

Vandals used a black marker to deface a sign at the Camarillo Police Station, 3701 E. Las Posas Road, between July 13 and 16.

Someone broke into a building at Los Senderos School, 1555 Kendall Ave., sometime between July 13 and 16.

Someone stole an undisclosed amount of property from a home in the 1300 block of Brookhaven Avenue between July 13 and 18.

Someone caused over $400 in damage to a truck parked in the 100 block of Crestview Avenue on July 14.

A 28-year-old man was hit in the head with a beer bottle during a fight with another man in the 3700 block of Dufau Road on July 14.

A 20-year-old man was arrested July 14 for attempting to shoplift an undisclosed amount of merchandise from Home Depot, 401 W. Ventura Blvd.

A vandal slashed the tires and convertible top of a car parked near the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Nellora Street on July 14. The vandal caused about $800 in damage.

A vandal threw a large piece of cement through the back window of a car parked in the 600 block of Lantana Street on July 15. Damage to the car is estimated at about $500.

Vandals poured green paint across a truck parked in the 2900 block of Wendell Street between July 15 and 16.

Someone used their victim's golf clubs to dig up eight cement walkway steps from the front of a business in the 4000 block of Via Pescador on July 15 or 16.

Someone stole a $40 car stereo from an unlocked car parked in the 2600 block of Ponderosa Drive and $300 in property from a locked car parked nearby sometime between July 16 and 17.

Someone broke into Los Primeros School, 2222 E. Ventura Blvd., between July 16 and 17.

Someone broke into Las Colinas Middle School, 5750 Fieldcrest Drive, and stole an undisclosed amount of property on July 17.

An undisclosed amount of property was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 1100 block of Blue Oak Street sometime between July 17 and 18.

Someone smashed the front window of a business in the 3200 block of Corte Malpaso and then stole several pieces of construction equipment between July 17 and 18.

Someone broke into a car parked in the 500 block of N. Lantana Street and stole a purse from underneath the passenger seat sometime between July 17 and 18.

A vandal spray painted the underneath of a bridge at Pleasant Valley Road and Bridgehampton Way on July 18.

A 22-year-old man was arrested July 18 for kicking and shattering the locked front door of Hollywood Video, 425 Arneill Road.

Vandals broke into Los Primeros School, 2222 Ventura Blvd., and caused less than $400 in damage to the school on July 18 or 19.

Someone carved anti-Semitic and sexually explicit symbols into the wood planks of the community sauna at the Palm Colony condominium complex, 821 Calle Los Gatos, sometime between July 19 and 18.

A stereo was stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 900 block of Paseo Camarillo on July 23.

A 28-year-old man was arrested July 20 in the 900 block of Camarillo Center Drive on residential burglary charges for an alleged home robbery in the 1300 block of Tamarix Street.

Between July 12 and July 23, police reported arresting 26 people for driving without a license or driving with a suspended license. During that same time period, 10 people were arrested for driving under the influence of a controlled substance, seven were arrested on various drug charges and three for being drunk in public.
