Celebrate studio's 10th year

As part of its 10th anniversary, Studio Channel Islands Art Center will host a reception for the Camarillo Art and Jazz Festival at 4 p.m. Sat., Aug. 11 at the studio in building 18, Ventura St., on the campus of Cal State Channel Islands.

The reception will include a performance by Eric Marienthal.

The 10th anniversary exhibition runs through Sept. 8 in all four galleries and features California artists such as Dawn Arrowsmith, Walter Askin, Connie Jenkins, Gary Lang, Ed Moses, John Nava, Ruth Pastine, Jack Reilly, Roland Reiss and Jeff Sanders.

John Nava will present an artist's talk at 7 p.m. Sat. Aug. 18. The suggested donation is $10, $5 for members.
