Learn advantages of owning home

Free classes on the advantages of homeownership will be presented by the Area Housing Authority of the county of Ventura.

The seminars are educational only. Seminars address tax advantages of home ownership, programs available for financing for a first-time buyer and raising and maintaining a high FICO score.

Classes will be offered from 6 to 7 p.m. Tues., July 17 in Camarillo, and Tues., Aug. 14 in Thousand Oaks. For reservations, call (800) 549-0337, ext. 167. Reservations are recommended.
