Heels to put wheels to road on Saturday

The second annual Ventura Harley-Davidson's "Heels and Wheels Ride" for women will be Sat., July 14 starting in Camarillo.

Check-in is at 9 a.m. at Ventura Harley-Davidson, 1326 Del Norte Road in Camarillo. Riders will depart at 10 a.m.

The ride will benefit Amazon Heart, a nonprofit organization founded to help fellow survivors by offering life-changing adventures.

The Heels and Wheels event costs $20 per rider, which includes a T-shirt and lunch from the Outback, and is open to all women riders regardless of motorcycle model.

There will also be a quilt raffle to raise funds for Amazon Heart.
