Strike up the band

The Camarillo Community Band free concert series will continue Thursdays through July 26 at Constitution Park next to city hall in Camarillo. The performances begin at 7 p.m.

Julie Judd, director of bands at Chaparral Middle School in Moorpark, will conduct the band on July 19.

The final concert, July 26, will be conducted by Samantha Blake, music teacher and director of bands and chorus at Mesa Verde Middle School in Moorpark.
